Peninsula Nights, is the latest feature film that brings Hollywood magic to the Monterey Peninsula, has captivated audiences with its unique blend of drama and romance. Written and directed by the acclaimed Devin Thomas, this film stars the renowned Stephen Ray Thomas and the talented Christine VonRobarie, who have quickly gained traction among industry professionals for their standout performances.

This marks the first time since Clint Eastwood's iconic Play Misty for Me that a major feature film has been shot entirely in the Monterey Peninsula.

Filmed on location in the stunning settings of Carmel-by-the-Sea, Monterey, Carmel Valley, Cannery Row, and at Rustique Wines, Peninsula Nights showcases the breathtaking beauty of the region while telling a heartfelt story. The film's commitment to authenticity extends to its cast, which includes locally cast extras such as Samantha Drews, Dominic Piccinini, Johnny Massa, Ethan Santos, Stu Rotticci, Matthew Velasquez, Jeremy Connally, Wendy Bluhm, Blake Massa, Samuel Persall, Kevin Stofer, Isabella Ruffoni, Lawrence Hernandez, Jessica Connally, Addison Orlando, Susan Massa Thomas, Vince Ciolino, Daniel Henry, Athena Rose, Alex Maganelli, Shelly Donati, Daniel Cardenas, Dina Ruiz Young, Marty Lawrence, and Ray Thomas.

Peninsula Nights has already made its mark with a series of exclusive premieres. It first graced the screen at Lighthouse Cinemas in Pacific Grove, where back-to-back weekend showings drew fans and film lovers. These lucky audiences not only enjoyed the film but also participated in live Q&A sessions with the cast and crew. Due to overwhelming demand, Lighthouse Cinemas House Manager David Diaz has expressed a strong interest in bringing the film back for another one-night premiere.

The film also had an intimate screening at the Forest Theater in Carmel-by-the-Sea, as part of the Films in the Forest series, where about 50 viewers experienced the film in a serene setting.

As Peninsula Nights gears up for a wider release on streaming platforms later this year, its journey continues to inspire and enchant. The production company has hinted at the possibility of additional local screenings if the community shows enough interest.

Devin Thomas has a full slate of films coming up, including Cork, set in the beauty of wine country, where a deep friendship blossoms beyond the vineyard, navigating the complexities of love, loyalty, and the allure of temptation. Devin Thomas plans on releasing many more films shot in the Monterey Bay area, expressing his appreciation for the realness of people in our area and the openness and freedom he has had to create films here, as opposed to shooting everything in Hollywood, Los Angeles, or inside sound studios.

Devin Thomas also says he will continue to work with Stephen Ray Thomas and Christine VonRobarie and is looking forward to street casting for extras for small parts in his upcoming films, as Monterey Bay is full of great personalities that are traditionally hard to find.
